History of Art: Europe During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance
Course Description
This course introduces the discipline of art history through an analysis of images, objects, and works of architecture produced from approximately 600 through 1600 C.E., including discussion of Islamic and European cultures during the Middle Ages, and the art of the Renaissance (including Mannerism) in northern and southern Europe.

ARTS 2B.02A: Open to all students who meet normal course prerequisites, have been accepted by formal application to the Study Abroad Florence program and have paid a program fee of ~$3,400 (which may include Financial Aid) plus airfare. All classes require permission of the instructor, Ms. Deborah Pasturel, pastureldeborah@fhda.edu. Majority of Course work takes place in Florence, Italy.
