Public Speaking
Course Description
Theory and techniques of public speaking in a democratic society. An introduction to a variety of perspectives and approaches used to research, assess, organize, present, and evaluate public presentations. Students will develop and apply effective research strategies.

COMM 1.FY1: This class is part of the First Year Experience (FYE) Learning Community, designed to help first year students succeed through community-building and linked classes. This is a HYBRID class that has both online and ON CAMPUS attendance requirements. Concurrent enrollment in ESCI D001L.FY (47910) required.
