De Anza 3D Printing Club is to provide hobbyists with an overview of 3D printing, beginner engineers with a place to learn 3D printing process and fundamental knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with the opportunity of acquiring skills for future hobby and job applications.

Active Minds at De Anza

At our chapter, we strive to create a safe space for our community to speak up about their struggles with mental health, in order to destigmatize mental health, and provide a safe space for students to speak openly about mental health in order to educate others and encourage help-seeking. Art Guild, De Anza

The Art Guild gives students an opportunity to practice art and receive critique outside of class. Special activities include; life drawing, workshops, meeting fellow artists on campus, and developing new techniques in other mediums.

Artificial Intelligence at De Anza [Inactive]

Our mission is to promote artificial intelligence discussion, learning, and interest by bringing together AI experts and researchers to present their findings and ideas to students, to build and assist others with artificial intelligence projects, and to connect students with opportunities to conduct research in other fields.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) @ De Anza

ACM provides an environment for building tech and learning how to run them efficiently using scientific computing. Workshops will be hosted based on user interface, user research, and use experience design. Access to services hosted by the main organization will be provided here, such as the Distinguished Speakers Program.

Badminton Club, De Anza (DABC)

The purpose of the club is to introduce badminton to the students of De Anza College and to provide a place for people who are interested in badminton to challenge each other, and most of all, to have fun. DABC is the club made with loads of opportunities for all students in De Anza College who want to play badminton in their free time, meet new friends, and enjoy the environment of our club with full of joy.

Black Student Union

At De Anza’s Black Student Union, we want a club that celebrates and connects black culture and history. In the club people will have a safe space to discuss race and politics, learn about human rights, learn about black culture, and plan events to give back to the community. Black Student Union is open to everyone, regardless of race, gender, or sexuality. Book Club, De Anza

The book club provides a platform for all students who enjoy reading and writing. Students who are looking for romance, entertainment, peace, and knowledge in the book world will get together to make friends, exchange ideas, and improve reading skills. The purpose of the club is to guide students in understanding the different data structures and how to implement data algorithms in Java and C++. Students will use this knowledge of programming to succeed in their classes and solve real-world problems.

As the way computer stores and organizes data, data structure is considered as one of the fundamentals of computer science and is necessary for CC students to understand. Our club provides a platform for members to communicate algorithm optimization and consolidate knowledge sharing by professionals and officers through regular meetings.

We as a club will explore the applications of the Metaverse and its related topics such as Web 3.0, NFTs, Crypto, etc. We will also be actively learning the skills for VR and AR development. The aim of this club is to form a community of individuals who are interested and passionate about robotics and artificial intelligence. Taiwanese Student Association

To unite students from Taiwan, help out students who just arrived, provide information and help on learning, about De Anza, and collects housing information, job opportunities. Further, introduce Taiwanese culture to other diversities.

Thinkers and Tinkerers

The purpose of this club is to build a community of creative and like-minded engineers who prefer action over inaction. We will work as multiple teams to come up with revolutionary solutions for real world problems by creating designs and assembling these products for these problems. The benefit of this is to build critical thinking and problem solving skills, along with learning technical skills to build these products.

Traditional Chinese Culture Club [Inactive]

The purpose of the club is to communicate and introduce Chinese traditional culture, including literature, Tang and Song poetry, Han-Fu, Chinese Chess, Go, and Mahjong, etc.

Triathlon Club, De Anza [Inactive]

The purpose of the club is to develop a community of multi-sport athletes from recreational to the elite who share a common purpose. The triathlon, which originated in California and is still a minor sport. We can tell people about how a Triathlon is exciting and can improve cardiovascular health and increase interest in the sport. And we will meet a lot of people who are participating in other sports such as swimming or cycling or running, hence the name Triathlon. We can always learn and support each other. The De Anza Triathlon Club is a sport-related organization dedicated to the athlete for the promotion and participation in multi-sport competition. De Anza Triathlon Club believes in directing each athlete to achieve their personal athletic goals, encouraging individual growth and performance in the sport through mentoring and learning, participating in organized group training sessions consisting of professionally designed workouts, and socialization in a fun and welcome environment, all while maintaining the unique competitiveness and spirit of endurance sports.

Ultimate Frisbee, De Anza

The purpose of the club is to act as a platform for people who are interested and love the sport to come together and play, to spread the knowledge and joy of Ultimate Frisbee, and to have fun overall.

UNICEF De Anza [Inactive]

UNICEF De Anza strives to make UNICEF De Anza to be known as the true advocate of children’s wellbeing. We fundraise to gain financial support for children’s betterment and volunteer for causes involving children.

Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)

Celebrate Vietnamese culture and language through various cultural and traditional activities. Support Vietnamese American students with their educational needs and issues on campus.

Web Design Club

We will design websites, share ideas, and explore the potential of web development. We aim to bring a diverse group of students with or without coding backgrounds by creating a space where they can learn and grow together.

Web Developers, De Anza

Our aim is to equip students with the skills of creating a website, which includes having an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Club projects include hands-on experience with designing websites, as well as integrating knowledge from other disciplinaries into the contents of the websites.

Whole Cake Club [Inactive]

Our club aims to provide a place for students to learn new languages and students of all nationalities and languages are welcome.

Women in Computer Science

Women in Computer Science encourages the involvement of women students who studies computer science or engineering majors in De Anza. Members will form projects, attend conferences, discuss computer science related topics.

Women's March Youth Empower, De Anza [Inactive]

The club purpose is to promote women's rights, environmental justice, economic equality, workers' rights, LGBTQIA rights and civil rights.

Zero Waste and Climate Awareness Club

The main missions of the club are: 1. To educate the student body about how to reduce plastic waste and how to be environmentally sustainable. 2. To create a supportive environment for students to voice their concerns related to environmental pollution and tackle issues on and off campus together.
