2026 Fourth Annual Ethnic Studies Summit
Wednesday, May 20 ~ 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ethnic Studies in Action
De Anza Conference Rooms A&B
Since its creation in the 1960s, the student-created and community-centered academic
field we know today as Ethnic Studies continues to face questions of legitimacy.
This year's fourth annual Ethnic Studies Summit brings together our college community
— students, faculty and staff — to highlight the topography of conversations in defense
of Ethnic Studies. Participants will hear from keynote speakers, engage with student
research and poster board presentations, and participate in an interactive and collective
discussion.
