Grand Prize Winner: Audrey Lee

Audrey Lee holding cameraAudrey Lee is a second-year Business Administration major and winner of this year's grand prize drawing for an Instax Mini 7 Plus camera. She's also vice president of the Women in Business club at De Anza and hopes to use the compact, point-and-shoot camera to produce instant printed photos at club events.

Audrey came to Welcome Day this year because she really enjoyed attending the previous Welcome Day in 2023.  "It helped me so much, in terms of finding my Village. Having those friendly faces to talk to in person is really nice," she said, adding that she also found helpful information at this year's event.

Audrey's name was selected at random from nearly 1,800 students who checked in at their Village Center for a free T-shirt and the prize drawing. Other prizes included Apple Air Tags. Prizes were purchased with donated funds.

Welcome Day is a fun opportunity to speak with instructors, meet fellow students and get answers to your questions about financial aid, registration and student services.
