Facing Home

Fresh by Gobir

Facing Home explores the who, what and where that gives us a sense of home or refuge, and honors the passing of loved ones central to the concept of home. 

Artists in this exhibition include Edith R. Argabrite, Tessie Barrera, Cheryl Derricotte, Nimah Gobir, Kristin Lindseth, George Rivera, Roxana Romero and Lydia Sanchez

Special projects include a Dia de Los Muertos altar installation in collaboration with the De Anza Latinx Association (DALA), HEFAS and the Pride Center.

Lacey Rochelle

The Euphrat is celebrating 15 years of First Thursday events. Join us this fall for an hour of spoken word and open mic performances, hosted by McTate Stroman II.

Our Nov. 2 featured guest will be Lacey Rochelle, a poet, author and therapeutic artist who addresses love, growth, healing and struggles within the Black experience. De Anza's Adriana Garcia will also present her poetry.
